What to expect at
Black Exhale Summit
Black Exhale Summit takes place November 13–15, 2026. The gathering is entirely online, bringing Black community leaders together across geography and across the African diaspora.
Your free registration gives you access to the summit's prerecorded conversations and offerings, along with live opening and closing gatherings. Each prerecorded offering will remain available to free attendees for 48 hours after it is released, giving you room to decide how and when you want to engage during the summit.
The All-Access Pass is available for $97 before the summit begins and $147 beginning November 13.
-
The heart of Black Exhale Summit is a series of prerecorded, host-guided conversations with people working across disciplines, practices, lands, and lived experiences.
Recording these conversations in advance gives each dialogue room for care, pacing, and attention before it reaches the wider gathering. It also allows the summit as a whole to be shaped intentionally through the Inhale → Exhale → Integration arc.
The conversations are relational and thoughtfully guided, with room to follow connections, slow down when needed, and hear what becomes possible when different kinds of knowledge meet.
Some summit offerings may also take a more experiential form, including possibilities such as movement, sound, reflection, meditation, artmaking, and other embodied practices.
-
Although the primary summit sessions are prerecorded, Black Exhale Summit will open and close live.
These gatherings give us an opportunity to enter the three-day experience together and to gather again as the summit comes to a close.
Between them, you are encouraged to move through the summit according to your own capacity. Pause when you need to pause. Stop when you need to stop. Return when you're ready.
Pacing is part of the pedagogy.
-
Black Exhale Summit is designed as a global digital gathering rather than an ongoing online community.
Across three days, Black leaders from different lands, professional fields, practices, communities, and lived experiences will be moving through the same larger arc and inquiry: Healing the Spaces Between Us.
The gathering itself is the place of connection.
-
Your free ticket gives you 48-hour access to each prerecorded summit offering after it is released.
If you'd like more time to move through the summit, revisit conversations, or continue engaging with the material afterward, the Black Exhale Summit All-Access Pass gives you ongoing access to the Summit Library.
The All-Access Pass includes ongoing access to summit conversations and offerings, audio versions for listening away from the screen, the Inner Terrain Guide, the Black Exhale Summit 2026 Offerings Guide, and curated speaker resources.
The All-Access Pass is available for $97 before the summit begins and $147 beginning November 13.

Integration
Inhale → Exhale → Integration
Inhale
We begin with resources: beauty, dignity, creativity, imagination, pleasure, wisdom, connection, spiritual resources, and the forms of medicine Black people have carried and created across generations.
Exhale
From there, we make room for what happened to us, and what happened between us. The histories and contemporary realities that shape Black life. Grief and rupture. Systemic and ancestral histories.
Integration
Information is not integration. Integration asks what we do with what has become available: including possibilities such as movement, sound, reflection, meditation, artmaking, and other embodied practices.
You don’t need a title to be someone your community turns to.
Maybe you lead an organization, classroom, congregation, team, movement, healing space, cultural institution, business, creative practice, or community. Maybe you're an educator, organizer, artist, healer, facilitator, cultural worker, spiritual practitioner, caregiver, coach, movement worker, or someone whose leadership doesn't fit neatly into any of those categories.
